New Hometown

The first week in Düsseldorf is reaching the end at least on the business side. So far my new hometown seems to be quite interesting. It is a 'small' german city about the size of Helsinki. The heart of the city is in Allstad, the old town. The area is full of small bars, restaurants and shops and every time I have visited the area theres people all around. My colleagues claim that during the weekend the area will be completely packed.
Work also started this week. I'm working as an architect in a team of 10 at Vodafone Global. The teams role is to design and develop solutions for all Vodafones globally managed services. So there is quite a lot of things to do for the team. Naturally after 3 days at the office I'm quite lost with most of the things happening but at least I had a rapid start to few projects so my guess is that after 1 full week I'll be onboarded and fully functioning member of the unit.
Currently I have only limited connections to internet so I'll be posting news irregulary. I'm hoping that I can get my living conditions improved within a week or so. The appartment hunt has begun!
