Living and enjoying

Düsseldorf is starting to bring the goods to my plate. The culinary world shows it's teeth by revealing great restaurants just few hundred meters from my home. On saturday I went to a place called Sila Thai and got really impressed! I think I managed to get the best Thai food in Europe with a very relaxing atmosphere. Another place I'm preparing to go is a Noodle bar Na Ni Wa. It's been ranked one of the best places in Düsseldorf and every time I go past it (Its on my way to work) there is a queue outside! People really seem to want there! This is not all: the amount of chinese, japanese, korean restaurants close to my home is astonishing. The european goodies are all bit further but there are some places where I'm heading quite soon also
Another fun I had during the last weekend was a game of badminton. Expats in Düsseldorf welcomed me to a game at badminton center and showed me how the game is played. After 2 hours of nonstop games I felt like I was hit by a train! The Indian and British guys were really good and showed me that they can make me run :D Loved it and will do it again next friday
Also the first visit to a club happened on Saturday. Monkey Club introduced me to electronic music in the city. Place was smallish with a decent dance floor and two extremely well organized bars: you did't pay with cash or credit but instead everyone had a monkey card that was used to pay drinks. Fast and efficient and they even had Ciders! Parties here start around 1 and continue to the morning. Although after Fridays games I was still quite immobile so I couldn't stay that long.
Looks to me that life in here is starting to look promising. Now all I need is few more new friends to hang out with :)
